Dave Conway - President and CEO

As president and CEO of iSqFt/Construction Software Technologies, Inc., Dave and his team have created the market leader in web services for the commercial construction industry. His background in the health care construction market as a provider of high-tech flame retardant materials and safety products has given Dave a keen understanding of the relationship between owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. This unique experience gave him the insight necessary to launch the iSqFt "Local Construction Network," a move that helped convince the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) to select iSqFt as an exclusive Strategic Business Partner.

As a result, iSqFt continues to grow rapidly, creating jobs and expanding services to a wide range of contractors and business partners throughout the country. In June 2005, Dave was the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the South Central Ohio and Kentucky region in the Technology Category.

Dave has a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Dayton, and serves on the Board of Directors for United Audit Systems Inc., KDM Printing, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Cincinnati and the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy.

 

Kevin Crawford - Executive Vice President of Sales

As EVP for iSqFt's sales team, Kevin manages a team of professionals whose focus is to recruit, train, and support general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers from across the country in the adoption of the Private Construction Office and Internet Plan Room applications.

His background includes 21+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles. He held sales and client management roles with Information Resources, which provided market research, analytics, and enterprise software for its client base. In his role there, Kevin consulted with his client base to improve their work processes by leveraging the software and information that Information Resource provided. He also held many sales and marketing roles in the consumer packaged goods industry with Bristol-Myers, Kendall Healthcare, and several smaller firms.

During his career, Kevin has built and managed sales teams to improve both short-term and long-term growth, while managing to minimize cost of sales and maximize the efficacy of marketing programs. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University

 

Jeff Cryder - Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of iSqFt, Jeff is responsible for safeguarding company assets, managing business risk and, together with his team of professionals, providing accurate, timely and relevant financial reports. Jeff also participates with the Company's CEO and COO in the development of the Company's long-term business and value creation strategy.

Jeff's experience began in the Cincinnati office of Arthur Andersen where he was active in the firm's local construction industry practice. After completing five years with Arthur Andersen, Jeff began a 20 year career as a senior finance executive in the coal industry, with metalforming equipment and rolling mill equipment manufacturers and most recently serving as EVP and CFO of Executive Jet Management (a wholly-owned subsidiary of NetJets Inc., a unit of Berkshire Hathaway). During his 7 year tenure with Executive Jet Management, Jeff's strategic, operational and financial leadership contributed to significant revenue growth while maintaining profitability. It was also during this time the Company became ISO 9001 registered, adopted a project management culture, deployed lean practices and six sigma problem solving skills, increased customer satisfaction and strengthened the culture with performance-based metrics and accountability systems.

In addition to his financial leadership responsibilities, Jeff has also had leadership roles with human resource, organizational development and information technologies. Jeff is a CPA (inactive) with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bowling Green State University.

 

Karen Herdina - Vice President of Content Management

Karen provides leadership to the company’s content management team, overseeing the quality and quantity of project-related information. Her team consists of both iSqFt employees and strategic partners. These teams work together to research and report on construction projects, obtain plans and specifications, manage construction information sources and prepare documents for viewing. In addition, Karen manages the relationship with the company’s various information gathering and reprographic partners.

With more than twenty years of technology industry experience, Karen's background includes technical project management with an enterprise software company, technical sales management with a business intelligence and data integration company, and product marketing and partner management at General Electric. At General Electric she earned her Six Sigma blackbelt. Prior to joining iSqFt, Karen led a services sales team and managed partners for Jenzabar, a provider of administrative software for higher education. Along with her husband, Karen is a co-owner in a construction company, which gives her great insight into the needs of construction companies, and their industry. Karen has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Presbyterian College and a master’s in Computer Science from Marist College. She is on the board of North Key Community Care.

 

Sandra Kuzma - Vice President of Human Resources

Sandra provides leadership for all aspects of human resources programs, operations, and activities to achieve strategic plans and goals consistent with the company's mission and values. Under her direction, her team implements the human resource strategies to meet the demands of workforce planning, recruiting, employee development, organizational development, succession planning, compensation, legal compliance, benefits and employee relations.

Prior to joining iSqFt, Sandra has a broad range of human resources management experience including a role as VP of Human Resources for the Cincinnati-based IT networking and consulting services firm PC on Call. She also served as Director of Human Resources for architectural firm Rosser International in Atlanta, GA. Sandra has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Policy Analysis, with a concentration in Human Resources, from Georgia State University.

 

Sarah Maue, Esq. - Director of Business Development

As the Director of Business Development for iSqFt, Sarah is responsible for the company’s worldwide partnership and acquisition strategies including the identification of prospects and the design and implementation of policies and processes. During her time with iSqFt, Sarah has held a variety of positions including Strategic Planning and Analysis, Internal General Counsel, and Corporate Controller.

Prior to joining iSqFt, Sarah worked in a number of financial and legal positions in the technology field including five years as a Program and Financial Management Consultant for a Department of Defense Supercomputing Center. Sarah’s experiences ranging from Strategic Analyst to Internal General Counsel have given her broad insight into all aspects of Corporate Business Development Strategy.

Sarah is an attorney, admitted by the Ohio State Bar in 2006, and a Certified Public Accountant. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Wilmington College and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati.

 

Fred Pugh - Chief Operating Officer

Fred has built a strong career as a proven, hands-on leader with entrepreneurial, mid-cap, and Fortune 50 companies. He is an accomplished and effective General Manager, having broad based operational and commercial experience with the demonstrated ability to balance competing resource demands, and making tough but sound decisions. He has been recognized for developing highly motivated performance-oriented teams that have the ability to stand on their own.

Starting his career in finance and operations with Xerox Corporation, he moved to GE where he advanced through the Sales, Marketing and Product management ranks. As the Executive VP of Camco, a GE affiliate, he was an instrumental part of the team that returned this $500 million dollar GE Affiliate to profitability. In 1998 Fred joined GE Capital as the Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Product Management for GE Capital IT Solutions, a $10 billion dollar IT business. During this tenure, Fred’s team received approval from the GE Capital Board to start GE Net solutions, an IT services business focused on web development. GE Net solutions grew to $200 million dollars of revenue in one year. Recruited by Deusche Bank’s venture unit in 2001 as the CEO of PC on Call, Inc., a Cincinnati-based, venture-funded IT outsourcing company targeting small-to-medium sized businesses, Fred left GE.

From 2001 until joining iSqFt in early 2006, he led the turnaround of the underperforming business model via changes in strategy and operations. He served on their board until they merged in 2007. Fred has a Bachelor’s Degree in political science and a Master’s of Business Administration from The Pennsylvania State University.

 

Henry Purdy - Vice President of Product Management

Henry has more than 15 years of construction software and management experience. Prior to its acquisition by iSqFt, he was vice president of product management for BuildPoint Corporation. While there, he played a critical role in shaping business and product strategy, and overseeing customer implementation of the industry's first online preconstruction management platform.

Prior to BuildPoint, Henry was a structural engineer at Rutherford and Chekene, where he managed several national and international jobs, performing project evaluation, design, estimates and construction administration. He also conducted firm marketing and business development, and developed companywide computing standards. Early in his career, Henry was a design engineer at Black and Veatch.

Henry received a bachelor's degree from Duke University with a major in civil and environmental engineering. He also holds a master's degree in structural engineering from Stanford University, where he participated in the research and development of construction technology at the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering.
