The company hired Richard Knapp as director of General Contractor Sales. Knapp’s experience in the commercial construction industry includes founding and operating a general contracting company that specialized in negotiated design builds and renovations.

Tulsa-based Bid News Construction Reports LLC, a provider of bidding project information to contractors in Oklahoma, has been acquired by iSqFt/Construction Software Technologies.

The firm, which also has operations in Oklahoma City, comes as a result of the retirement of Bid News owner and founder Ken Duncan. Duncan will assist with the transition in the coming months before his official retirement.
