For the third consecutive year, iSqFt/Construction Software Technologies is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a finalist for the Business Courier Best Places to Work awards.
“Naturally, we’re thrilled,” says Sandra Kuzma, Vice President of Human Resources for iSqFt/Construction Software Technologies. “We’ve worked hard to create a workplace with a sense of community and engagement. We’ve enjoyed showing our appreciation for our team members by doing fun things, like cookouts, ice cream socials, and ‘Popcorn Wednesdays,’ but we also enjoy getting our team members involved outside of work by helping others through our community outreach programs such as Boys Hope Girls Hope, Hoxworth Blood Center, Ronald McDonald House and local food banks. These are the kinds of things that can offer our team members a sense that they’re part of something important, that they’re contributing to something larger than themselves.”
iSqFt’s President and CEO, Dave Conway, agrees that the key is engagement. “We know all too well that businesses are made or broken by the quality of their people. We ask a lot of our team members, but they know we appreciate their hard work, and they know how their efforts play into our success. That’s a powerful thing.”
Conway feels strongly that the same things that have made iSqFt successful have also made it a great place to work. “Culturally, we respect feedback, whether from our team members or our customers, and we respond quickly and thoughtfully to make improvements. I think that’s been an important ingredient in our success.”
The results can be seen in iSqFt’s success in the business world and heard in the voices of their team members who nominated their workplace as one of the Best Places to Work for the third year in a row.
“Best Places to Work” nominations are based on scores from employee surveys, measuring such items as:
- Employee engagement
- Belief in management and colleagues
- Career path and professional development
- Compensation and benefits
- Overall employee fulfillment
The winners will be named at a luncheon at the Millennium Hotel in downtown Cincinnati on November 4th.
