Login FAQ

Question: When attempting to logon I get Insufficient Permissions and cannot go any further on the site.

Answer:

In Internet Explorer go to the top and click Tools > Internet Options > Security. Next, click on Trusted Sites and then the "Sites..." button below and to the right.

Uncheck the box at the bottom of the window labeled "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone." Then, under "Add this website to the zone," type *.isqft.com and click Add. Your screen should look similar to below. Hit OK at the bottom and then OK at the bottom of the Internet Options screen. Note that these changes may not take effect until you close the Internet Explorer window and reopen it.

Question: When I try to log into iSqFt, I receive the following security window (sometimes several times). What can I do to stop these from coming up?

Answer:

The additional security features of Service Pack 2 cause this window to appear. By adding our site to the list of trusted sites, this should eliminate this window from appearing when you log in to iSqFt. You can follow the same instructions above to add iSqFt to the trusted sites list.

Question: I'm getting a browser session error. How can I correct this?

Answer:

When logging in, you are prompted with a browser session error like in the following image:

General Fixes:

Be sure to allow cookies for iSqFt. This can be done from Internet Options in Internet Explorer.  Start by opening Internet Explorer and click on Tools > Internet Options at the top of the window. Once inside Internet Options, click on the Privacy tab at the top of the page. Depending on your version of Windows, you may see something slightly different than this screenshot.

Click on the "Sites..." button.  If you do not have a "Sites..." button, you should see a button that is labeled "Edit..."   By clicking on "Sites" or "Edit," you should see a window similar to the one below. Type isqft.com into the window and click "Allow."  This will allow cookies from iSqFt to be saved onto your PC.  You may need to close and then re-open your browser for this to take effect.

Fix for AOL users:   If you are logging in to iSqFt using the AOL browser, this message may appear when you try to log in.   Be sure that you are logging in to our site using Internet Explorer.   To log in successfully, minimize (hide) your AOL window and open Internet Explorer using the icon on your desktop or choosing it from your Start menu in Windows.  The icon you are looking for will look like this:

Fix for Dial-up users with Dial-up accelerators:   Due to how dial-up accelerators handle loading and caching websites, it will be necessary to temporarily disable the accelerator program when logging in and using iSqFt.  Several popular Dial-up ISPs that use these accelerators include Net-Zero, Earthlink and AT&T.  To disable the accelerator, you will find an icon located in the lower right corner of your screen down by your clock in the system tray.   Most accelerators can be disabled by 'right-clicking' the icon and choosing an option to 'turn off' or 'disable.'

Fix for High Speed Satellite users:   If you have added our site to the Privacy settings list to always allow cookies, and you are still receiving the error message try logging in to one of our mirror sites.  Direct your browser to one of the following links and try to log in just as you did with our main page.

demo.isqft.com   or    www2.isqft.com

Question: How do I log in to iSqFt with an Invite I received from a GC?

Answer:

Typically, you will find you username and password in the top left part of the invitation email or fax sent to you by the general contractor.

Use your username and password to log in by clicking "User Login" on the the top right side of our homepage ( http://www.isqft.com .) Be sure to type the username and password in exactly as it appears on the invitation. Include any dashes.

Question: The username and password I received from a GC is invalid. What else can I try?

The GC may have revoked your access to this project. Please verify your access with the GC listed in the invite before trying the following steps.

Answer:

You entered the username or password incorrectly. Try retyping both the username and password  again, making sure to include any dashes.

If you've already tried to re-type the code, it's possible that the Username and Password that were sent are no longer active. Verify your access with the GC listed on the invitation to make sure you still have access to the project.
