iSqFt Takeoff: Evolution of the Species

Update your iSqFt Takeoff software

Managing your list of custom layers can be time consuming, but now with our new folders feature, you can organize your layers and increase your efficiency. You'll put more time back in your day and estimate even more easily.

This latest version of the Takeoff software includes a wide range of improvements, both large and small. Downloading these updates now will ensure you have access to all the latest tools and the best iSqFt Takeoff yet.

NOTE:It is recommended that you backup your existing database of takeoffs prior to upgrading.

1. Close iSqFt Takeoff if you have it open.

2. Go to the Start button and navigate to All Programs -> iSqFt Takeoff -> iSqFt Takeoff Maintenance.

3. Select the Backup Database in the list along the left side of the page.

4. Complete Database should be selected by default.

5. Click the "..." button under the File Path for Backup heading.

6. By default, the backup will save to your My Documents folder, but you can change where it is saved on this screen. Hit Save.

7. Click the Start Backup button in the top left. When the backup is complete you can close the iSqFt Takeoff Maintenance window.

Here's how to get the latest version:

1. Download the iSqFt Takeoff Updater.

2. Choose Save or Save as.

3. When asked to choose a location to save the file, select Desktop and then click Save.
   
   

4. Go to your computer's Desktop (close all windows) and launch the installer by double-clicking the iSqFtTakeoffSetup-Updater file.

5. The iSqFt Takeoff Update screen will display. Click Next.

6. Click Install. You will see a progress bar while iSqFt Takeoff is being updated.

7. When the iSqFt Takeoff Updater finishes, click Finish.
